הי רבי יהודה אילימא רבי יהודה דבכל דתניא (בראשית כד, א) וה' ברך את אברהם בכל רבי מאיר אומר שלא היה לו בת רבי יהודה אומר שהיתה לו בת ובכל שמה אימור דשמעת ליה לרבי יהודה ברתא נמי לא חסריה רחמנא לאברהם דעדיפא מבן מי שמעת ליה

R. Meir said, [the meaning is] that he had no daughter; [and] R. Judah said, [the meaning is] that he had a daughter whose name was 'Inall',<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' [H] 'in all'; v. supra 16b. ');">¹⁹</span> it may be objected<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Lit., 'say'. ');">²⁰</span> that [from this] one may only infer<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Lit., 'you have heard him'. ');">²¹</span> that, according to R. Judah, the All Merciful did not deprive Abraham even of daughter; this is no proof, however,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Lit., 'did you hear him?' ');">²²</span>
